Bottom Scroller: Adding Text Announcements to Your Stream
· Features
A scrolling text bar adds another dimension to your overlay. Use it for shoutouts, announcements, or sponsor messages.
Television news broadcasts have long used scrolling text bars to deliver additional information. The same concept works beautifully for live streams.
The bottom scroller lets you create scrolling text messages that run across the bottom of your overlay. Use it for sponsor shoutouts, upcoming event announcements, social media handles, or community messages.
Each message can be individually enabled or disabled, so you can prepare a library of announcements and activate the relevant ones for each stream. Reorder them to control the sequence, or set certain messages to blink for extra attention.
For sponsors, this adds another touchpoint beyond just the logo. You can include messages like "Today's stream is powered by [Sponsor Name]—check them out at [URL]" to give partners extra value without additional logo clutter.
The scroller runs independently from the logo rotation, so your stream gets two layers of sponsor visibility with minimal screen real estate used.
