Chat Feed Widget: Live Chat on Your Overlay

· Features

Display scrolling chat messages directly on your streaming overlay with the Chat Feed widget.

Chat interaction is a core part of the streaming experience. The Chat Feed widget takes messages from your connected chat platforms and displays them as a scrolling feed directly on the overlay.

Messages appear in real-time from all your connected platforms—Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Kick, and Rumble. Each platform has its own color scheme, so viewers can see which community a message came from.

The widget's position, size, font, and background are all customizable. Adjust the scrolling speed, message fade time, and maximum messages displayed. Some streamers prefer a compact feed in the corner, while others dedicate more screen space for a prominent chat display.

For IRL streams, the Chat Feed is especially engaging. When your camera is pointing at the real world, having chat messages floating across the screen creates an augmented reality feel that viewers enjoy.

The feed integrates with the same chat hooks as the Chat Reader, sharing the platform connections. Set up your chat platforms once, and both the reader page and the overlay feed work simultaneously.
