Designing Effective Twitch and YouTube Panels

· Tutorials

Channel panels are your storefront. Learn to design panels that inform visitors, showcase sponsors, and convert viewers into followers.

Channel panels appear below your stream on Twitch and on your YouTube channel page, serving as a permanent information hub for visitors. Unlike your live overlay, panels are always visible and represent your channel even when you are offline. Well-designed panels guide new visitors through your content, schedule, and sponsorships.

Essential panels include an About Me section, your streaming schedule, hardware and software specs, social media links, and donation information. Each panel should have a consistent visual header that matches your brand colors and typography. Use concise, scannable text because most viewers skim rather than read every word.

Sponsor panels deserve special attention. Create a dedicated panel for each major sponsor or a single panel showcasing all your partners. Include their logo, a brief description of the partnership, and a trackable link. This gives sponsors persistent visibility beyond your live broadcast hours and shows potential sponsors that you offer comprehensive brand placement.

Keep panel dimensions in mind when designing. Twitch panels display at a maximum width of three hundred twenty pixels, so text needs to be large enough to read at that size. Use high-contrast colors and avoid thin fonts that become illegible when scaled down. YouTube panels have more flexibility but still benefit from clean, readable design.

Link your sponsor panels to your StreamSponsor.app profile so interested brands can see your full sponsorship setup in one place. When a potential sponsor visits your channel, they see your professional panels, your live overlay with rotating logos, and a clear path to learning more about partnership opportunities. This funnel approach converts casual interest into signed deals.
