Handling Multiple Projects for Different Stream Types

· Features

Different stream formats deserve different overlay setups. Projects let you maintain separate configurations.

If you stream multiple types of content—gaming, IRL, talk shows, creative sessions—a single overlay configuration might not fit all of them.

Projects allow you to create separate overlay configurations for each stream type. Your gaming stream project has gaming-relevant sponsors positioned around the gameplay. Your IRL project has a different layout optimized for vertical video. Your talk show project has sponsors arranged around a face cam setup.

Each project has its own public URL. Switch between them by using different browser sources in different OBS scenes, or by changing the active project in your dashboard.

Sponsors can be assigned to specific projects or shared across all of them. A title sponsor who wants visibility across every stream type gets added to all projects. A gaming-specific sponsor only appears in the gaming project.

Settings, scenes, scroller messages, and overlay themes are all project-specific. This separation keeps each stream type's configuration clean and independent.

For streamers who do variety content, projects prevent the compromise of trying to make one overlay work for everything. Each format gets the attention it deserves.
