How to Use Twitch Raids to Showcase Sponsors
· Advanced Techniques
Twitch raids send your community to another channel at the end of your stream. Learn how to use this moment strategically for sponsor exposure.
Twitch raids are a community-building staple, but they also represent an untapped opportunity for sponsor visibility. The moments leading up to a raid are some of the highest-energy parts of any broadcast, and smart streamers are using this window to deliver final sponsor impressions.
Before you hit the raid button, spend the last five to ten minutes of your stream running a closing segment. Thank your sponsors by name, point to the overlay where their logos are displayed, and remind viewers about any active promotions or discount codes. This closing ritual gives sponsors a dedicated moment of attention when your chat is most active.
Use StreamSponsor.app's show-all mode during your closing segment. Instead of rotating through logos one at a time, display every sponsor simultaneously so viewers can see the full roster of brands supporting the stream. This creates a visual "thank you" wall that feels natural and gives each sponsor maximum exposure during peak engagement.
The raid itself can also be a sponsored moment. If a brand wants premium placement, offer to name the raid segment after them. A phrase like "Let's ride with the GamerFuel Raid" gives the sponsor an audible mention while still feeling authentic to the Twitch culture of raiding.
After the stream, review your StreamSponsor analytics to see impression spikes during the closing segment. Share these peak numbers with your sponsors to demonstrate the value of the raid moment. Over time, you can build a rate card that prices the closing segment and raid naming rights as premium add-ons in your sponsorship packages.
